After one year, the BMW iD5 was quickly replaced by iD6. The main menu was to receive live information and the iD5 design was to be reduced overall.
The focus was on the realignment and preparation of iD7.
The main menu was changed from a list to hero displays shortly before SOP at the end of 2014 in order to incorporate the design of the iD6 release.
The most important design decisions were Live content in the main menu, omission of domain colors, omission of controller mapping, area cursors, design reduction of focus and modular elements, dynamization of status.

In schneller Folge wurde das BMW iD5 nach einem Jahr durch iD6 abgelöst. Das Hauptmenü sollte dadurch Live-Informationen erhal- ten und das iD5-Design insgesamt reduziert werden.
Die Neuausrichtung und Vorbereitung von iD7 stand dabei im Mittelpunkt.
Das Hauptmenü wurde kurz vor SOP Ende 2014 von einer Liste auf Hero-Darstellungen umgestellt, um das Design des iD6-Releases aufzunehmen.
